Greensboro’s Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with the nonprofit Greensboro Downtown Parks Inc. to manage Carolyn & Maurice LeBauer Park and Center City Park, two privately built facilities that will be gifted to the City. For the latest information on park programming and events, and to inquire about park rentals, visit the Greensboro Downtown Park Inc. website.

Hours of Operation:
7 am to 11 pm, unless otherwise posted for special events

Features and Amenities:

Center City Park
• Band shell
• Various sculptures
• Fountain feature that is an abstract representation of the seasonal stream beds found throughout NC’s Piedmont region

LeBauer Park
• Two cafes: Ghassan’s and nOma Food & Company
• Price/Bryan Performance Place, a 17,000-square foot lawn that accommodates up to 4,000 people
• a playground
• Janet Echelman aerial sculpture “Where We Met”
• VF Corporation Seasonal Plaza, with interactive fountains
• Peacehaven Sensory Space, a sculptural wall designed to be enjoyed by people who have sensory processing disorders
• Downtown Greensboro Animal Hospital Dog Park
• Carolyn’s Garden, one acre of ornamental gardens
• Junior League of Greensboro’s Reading Room
